Rep. Cynthia McKinney apologizes. But if she was innocent why apologize?

But if she was innocent why apologize? It's funny now the grand jury is meeting she now claims she is sorry. And her bodyguard has now gotten into a shoving match with Scott McFarlane, a reporter from WSB-TV in Atlanta, McKinney's hometown. The security guard threatened to throw the reporter's "a-- in jail."
